Initial Thoughts
I’ve been loving the pungent scent on this Berry-lato courtesy of DC i-71 marijuana dispensary, The Green Room. It holds the promise of being slightly indica dominant and is meant to lower stress and anxiety while relaxing your muscles. At first whiff, it's also got a delectable candy-like nose that should be pretty awesome to roll up if my canna-instincts serve me right. 🤔
Appearance
Tightly packed purple and green nugs with a heavy covering of white shiny trichomes.
Status
Fresh.
Aroma
An intense berry candy scent similar to cotton candy.
Flavor
A candy taste on the inhale and a sweet blueberry exhale and aftertaste.
Lineage
Assuming this is a phenotype of Berry Gelato the Berry-lato strain is a cross between Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies and Blueberry resulting in an indica dominant varietal.
Effects
The effects of Berry-lato were a compelling blend of body-centric sensations and uplifting emotions. I was immediately met by the gentle embrace of a warm body high, comforting me like a blanket. My muscles surrendered to the soothing influence that Berry-lato provided and left a tingling sensation in my toes. While there were occasional moments of slight paranoia, they were skillfully balanced by the strain's calming and uplifting effects.
Conclusion
The Berry-lato strain has its precedent set by its scent and taste. Instantly after opening the bag the room was filled with the scent of fresh berries - just like my mouth after taking a huge rip. Its other attributes are, of course, notable too and you can expect a potent and exotic indica high, but the flavor is the real experience, for real. To grab some for yourself, head on down to The Green Room today. Be sure to mention that Toker’s Guide sent you!
