Khalifa Mints - The Gift Givers

Strain: Khalifa Mints

Service: The Gift Givers

Service Type: DC i-71 Delivery

Overall Rating: 8.9/10

Lean: Indica Dominant

Initial Thoughts

Khalifa Mints is the first crossbreed to come out of the Khalifa Kush weed brand and is the result of crossing The Menthol strain with Khalifa Kush. Given the quality and delightfulness of their flagship strain, as previously reviewed here, the Toker's Guide team was super psyched about getting to try this latest creation, now available from DC cannabis delivery service, The Gift Givers.

Appearance

Large hand-trimmed buds that are a mix of light and dark green with lots of white and starry trichomes throughout.

Status

Fresh, but starting to cure.

Aroma

Gassy, earthy, and minty with hints of pine and cheese.

Flavor

Smooth and earthy with a minty, creamy, and piney aftertaste. Very similar to Tahoe OG and other earthy/piney OG's.

Lineage

The Khalifa Mints strain is a cross of Khalifa Kush and The Menthol that runs indica dominant.

Effects

This highly potent batch of Khalifa Mints has similar euphoric effects as the Khalifa Kush original, but with more energy and cerebral qualities. It's still calming, but doesn't give you any couch-lock making it quite the versatile hybrid. In that regard, I'd say it's good for both day and night, but probably optimal in the afternoon given its more uplifting nature (perhaps not the best for sleep) and intoxicating aspects (not the best for productivity).

Conclusion

We really like what the Khalifa Kush crew has going on and this batch of Khalifa Mints is a prime example of the quality work they're doing in terms of breeding and cultivation. To experience it for yourself just hit up The Gift Givers today and don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you!
