Initial Thoughts
Hippies of the past would’ve been blessed to toke on some groovy ganja of this high caliber. Named for the type of mind-bending high it can induce, this batch of Psychedelic was grown by craft cultivator, Grow West, and is currently available at Maryland marijuana dispensary Waave. We've recently become big fans of Waave due to their super warm, friendly, and knowledgeable staff, but also because they're carrying sought after Grow West flower like this conveniently close to the 495 beltway. ☮️🌈✌️
Appearance
Fresh and fluffy buds that are mainly green with some darker purplish coloration here and there. Also note that it's hand-trimmed and has extra long pistils with a good amount of trichome coverage.

Aroma
A gassy tropical fruit-like scent.
Flavor
Dank pineapple with hints of fuel and skunk.
Lineage
The Psychedelic strain is a complicated cross of BC Purps, Deep Purple, The Black, Green Crack, and Bubblegum that runs indica dominant.
Effects
This Psychedelic specimen whisked me away into a realm of sleepiness and giggles, marking its presence as a heavier indica strain. It rendered me quite immobilized, leaving me with little motivation to engage in activities. I enjoyed the psychedelic cerebral aspects, but thought that the body high was more obvious and pronounced. Overall, the state of euphoric bliss I found myself in had me floating comfortably on the couch watching music videos with a sense of deep fascination and a wandering mind.
Conclusion
This strain is aptly named due to the aforementioned cerebral qualities, but I also think it would pair well with other psychedelic experiences given the cozy and calming body high. Either way, I’m glad the friendly staff at Waave was able to provide this particular Psychedelic experience to me and I’m psyched to see what other fire flower comes from them and Grow West in the future.
