Rainbow Kush - House of Herbs

With nearly all the colors of of the rainbow, and a full range of Kush influence in the lineage, this Rainbow Kush from DC i-71 storefront House of Herbs is everything an indica lover could ask for. Its aromatic stance is a very tropical fruit forward one with exotic, earthy notes that emerge when smoked. The type of fruit is hard to place, but with some whiffs it comes across as slightly sour or citrus, other times it's sweeter like a pineapple. It's too bad "taste the rainbow" is taken as a tag line because it would be the perfect one to describe this batch!

A three way cross breed of Hindu Kush, Master Kush, and Montel's Pride, Rainbow Kush runs around 70/30 on the indica/sativa ratio and in the low to mid twenty percent THC range. The most notable aspect about this strain, in my opinion, is its ability to crush any body aches or pains quickly. Soreness melted away, joint pain subsided, and even the kink in my neck stopped trying to jerk me around for, surprisingly, most of the day. Kudos to the breeder on this one!

Also notable is the spectacular coloration. I mentioned the colors of the rainbow being present at the beginning of the review and while this is true, the most predominant color is assuredly purple. It's almost entirely purple in some places aside from the oversized fiery orange hairs and hyper-white trichomes. The buds are also beefy, fluffy, and make for fantastic rolling material. Can't wait to roll up a late night Christmas Eve J of this and cozy up around the fire pit!
