Initial Thoughts
I'd never heard of Sparkly Biscuit before so I was eager to open the, may I say, beautiful pink glass jar from DC i-71 storefront, Mother Blossom, and examine this flower specimen. What I found inside was nothing short of gorgeous in terms of bud structure, trichomes, freshness and aroma. In fact, it was so sparkly (like a disco ball 🪩) I think the term Disco Biscuit might have been a better name. Unfortunately, that one's already taken for some other things. 😉
Appearance
Green buds with patches of purple, bright orange hairs, and a heavy layer of white and starry trichomes.
Status
Beginning to cure.
Aroma
Sweet, gassy, and creamy with hints of something bready like a sugar cookie or...wait for it...biscuit.
Flavor
Creamy, sweet, and gassy with a hint of chem on the exhale - much like fresh Wedding Cake or Gelato 33.
Lineage
We can't find much on "Sparkly Biscuits", but the Sugar Biscuit strain is a cross of Animal Cookies and Dosidos that runs indica dominant. We think this one is very much like some excellent batches of Sugar Biscuits we've seen in the past.
Effects
Deeply calming and sedative this one comes on strong and fast leaving you in a state of mesmerizing bliss. Great for evenings and before bed, it's hard to deny the eye-squinting, heavily stoned feeling of this great indica hybrid.
Conclusion
As the waves of euphoria from the joint began to wash over me it became clear that I may not be able to get up again for a while if I don't make my way to the fridge immediately. Then, in a moment of serendipity, I noticed that the thing I sought most upon inspection of the refrigerator's contents was leftover cinnamon raisin biscuits with icing. I may or may not have spent the next 15 minutes eating them all, cold, and while sitting on the floor. In sum, this is a highly potent indica that can bake even the most prodigious stoners.
