DC does not technically have recreational weed. There used to be cannabis gifting businesses, known as "i-71." Some of these businesses converted to licensed medical dispensaries, so you'll need to register as a medical patient to make purchases. Luckily there's self-certification for residents and non-residents alike and also reciprocity for medical cards from other states.
