With summer right around the corner, it's almost time for bikinis, margaritas and sun bathing; thankfully, one thing I don’t have to wait for is this sassy batch of Valley Girl cultivated by gLeaf. Though I’ve only just recently encountered this strain, it’s definitely one I’d choose to keep in my stash. With such versatility in this carefully cultivated hybrid, the effects can range from giddy to relaxation depending on your tolerance. So, for someone like me with a fairly high tolerance, it’s absolutely a no-brainer. 🧠
Appearance
These buds are lime green with orange hairs reaching for the sky, and sparkling trichomes coat the buds in their entirety!

Valley Girl has a pungent spicy, herbal, and piney twang to its aroma. There are also clean notes of citrus and wood that escape the buds as you break them down.
Flavor
The sass doesn’t stop at Valley Girl’s aroma; instead, it lingers on the palate even after you’ve finished smoking. Poignantly twangy flavors of pine and citrus make this batch so delectable!

Valley Girl is the offspring of hybrid San Francisco Valley (SFV) OG and indica Face Off OG. She was originally created in 1999 in the San Fernando Valley, which is how she received her name!
Effects
Get ready for the sass! Valley Girl is the perfect hybrid strain, giving you that amazing cerebral energy while filling your body with this glorious euphoric feeling! After about an hour, it made me feel like I had smoked a bowl of Face Off! I was couch locked and sleepy, and it didn’t take long before the sleep won. I will say, if you smoke this earlier in the day, the SFV shines through more than the Face Off, giving you energy to get stuff done. But, once that sun goes down, this definitely becomes more of a sleepy time strain! That’s the beauty of carefully cultivated hybrids such as Valley Girl. They can do it all!
Conclusion
It’s hard to find a fault in such a beautifully cultivated strain such as this Valley Girl. She gives you the high highs and the low lows to do whatever it is you need to do! Chores? Errands? Sleep? Whatever your ailment, Valley Girl has the sass to handle it all. This is one I’m definitely going to be enjoying as we kick off the summer!
