In a move that’s raising eyebrows across the Missouri cannabis community, regulators recently approved a major license transfer for AJO LLC, a co-owner of the company infamous for a massive 60,000-product recall. While Delta Extraction had its license revoked for allegedly using unregulated hemp-derived THC from out of state, its 50% partner, AJO LLC, was greenlit to take over a much larger cultivation and manufacturing hub in Waynesville. AJO claims they were just "passive investors" in the Delta scandal, but leaked evidence and agent ID revocations suggest they might have been more hands-on than they’re admitting.

This situation is a wild reminder for regular tokers that the "legal" market still has some growing pains when it comes to oversight and accountability. For everyday enthusiasts, consistent rules are vital because they ensure the flower and concentrates in your jar are actually what the label says they are. While it's frustrating to see potential rule-breakers slide into bigger operations, keeping the spotlight on these regulatory gaps is how the community ensures long-term quality and safety for everyone.
