On a more positive note, the VA is finally looking to "gear up" for psychedelic treatments for veterans, and new research confirms what we’ve long known: legal medical access significantly cuts down on opioid prescriptions.

This matters to every toker because it highlights the ongoing risk of prohibition despite the progress we see in shops every day. While Missouri is making moves to allow curbside pickup and Ohio judges are protecting hemp access, the sheer volume of arrests shows we can't get complacent. Supporting groups like the Marijuana Policy Project is more vital than ever to ensure the industry and advocates stay united against a rising prohibitionist push. We need to keep pushing for full federal reform to finally end these senseless arrests.
