Marijuana Moment
It looks like the current administration is in some hot water with the cannabis community. A fresh poll shows that only six percent of tokers actually approve of Trump’s moves on marijuana policy so far. Despite all the campaign trail talk and high-level meetings, the consensus among regular users has taken a noticeable dip lately.
The good news? There’s a massive silver lining for the White House if they finally stop stalling. Over half of the folks surveyed said they’d be way more likely to support the administration if federal rescheduling or full legalization actually crossed the finish line. Trump recently hinted he’s "very strongly" looking at reclassifying the plant to Schedule III, which would finally acknowledge its medical value and clear the way for more research.
For those of us just looking to enjoy our greens without the legal headaches, this matters because it shows the immense political power we hold. If the administration wants to win over the community, they need to move past the rumors and deliver real, tangible reform that increases access and safety for everyone.
