Overview
Banana Peel is a potent hybrid cannabis strain created by Illuminati Seeds, known for its heavy-hitting effects and dessert-like flavor profile. It is a cross between Banana OG (Laffy Taffy cut) and Pestilence (Abusive OG x West Coast Dawg), resulting in a cultivar that balances sweet tropical notes with classic OG power.
Effects
Banana Peel is a potent hybrid strain that delivers a powerful combination of cerebral euphoria and heavy physical relaxation, eventually leading to a profound "brick-like" couch-lock. This makes it a low-energy cultivar best suited for evening use, deep relaxation, or as a sleep aid. Its therapeutic profile is well-suited for managing stress, physical tension, and insomnia. The strain's effects are driven by a terpene profile featuring myrcene, which enhances its sedative properties; limonene, which contributes to its mood-lifting tropical notes; and caryophyllene, which provides potential anti-inflammatory benefits and a spicy undertone. Combined, these elements make Banana Peel an ideal choice for those seeking a heavy, weighted sensation to escape chronic stress and physical discomfort.

Appearance
The buds of Banana Peel are typically dense and chunky, showcasing a vibrant lime green color with occasional hues of forest green. They are adorned with thin, fiery orange pistils and a thick, sticky layer of crystalline trichomes that give the flower a shimmering, frosted look.
Aroma
This strain features a prominent and nostalgic aroma of sweet banana candy, specifically reminiscent of banana taffy. Beneath the primary fruity scent are complex layers of earthy pine and a sharp, gassy chemical undertone inherited from its OG lineage.
Flavor
The flavor profile is dominated by a sugary, creamy banana taste on the inhale. On the exhale, the smoke reveals deeper, savory notes of spicy kush and herbal earthiness, making for a smooth yet robust smoking experience.
Lineage
Banana Peel is a genetic masterpiece descending from Banana OG (Laffy Taffy cut) and Pestilence. Pestilence itself is a cross of Abusive OG and West Coast Dawg, contributing to the strain's structural integrity and intense potency.
