Overview
Beast Mode OG is a high-performance, proprietary cannabis strain distributed by the Seattle-based delivery service Green Umbrella. Originally cultivated by Zion Gardens, this potent hybrid gained legendary status in the Pacific Northwest, particularly following the Seattle Seahawks' 2013 championship victory. Its name pays homage to NFL running back Marshawn Lynch, reflecting the powerful, "Beast Mode" impact of its effects.
Effects
Beast Mode OG delivers a powerful, high-intensity experience that begins with a significant mood-elevating cerebral rush before melting into a heavy, relaxing body high. While it provides a potent punch, it maintains a balanced indica-sativa profile that is not purely sedative, making it suitable for users who need relief without immediate couch-lock. This strain is highly effective for managing high stress levels, chronic body pain, muscle tension, and serves as an excellent mood elevator. Its complex terpene profile is led by myrcene, which facilitates deep physical relaxation and an earthy aroma; limonene, which supports the initial cerebral lift and citrus notes; caryophyllene, which adds a spicy kick and anti-inflammatory benefits; and pinene, which contributes to its distinct pine scent and helps maintain mental clarity. Together, these elements make Beast Mode OG a premier choice for experienced users seeking comprehensive physical relief and a potent mental boost.

Appearance
This strain typically features dense, forest-green buds accented by deep purple hues and a thick coating of crystalline trichomes. The flowers are tightly packed, characteristic of its heavy OG lineage, and are interwoven with thin, fiery orange pistils.
Aroma
Beast Mode OG stays true to its Kush heritage with a pungent and heavy aromatic profile. Users will immediately notice a strong scent of earthy pine and damp soil, complemented by sharp fuel-like undertones and a hint of spicy citrus.
Flavor
The taste profile is robust and classic, dominated by a woody, piney inhale. Upon exhale, it leaves a lingering flavor of spicy hash, diesel, and a subtle sweetness that balances the heavy herbal notes.
Lineage
While initially suspected to be a Girl Scout Cookies cut, flowering revealed it to be either a unique phenotype of OG Kush or an OG-dominant hybrid. It heavily favors OG genetics, providing a classic Kush experience that leans toward the indica side of the spectrum.
