Overview
Boss OG, developed by Dark Heart Nursery, is a potent and fragrant phenotype of the iconic OG Kush. Sharing many of the esteemed qualities of Fire OG, this strain is a favorite among those who appreciate the classic fuel-forward profile of top-tier OG varieties.
Effects
Boss OG delivers a balanced and powerful experience that begins with a happy, cerebral lift, effectively trimming away mental stress, anxiety, and tension. As the high progresses, it transitions into a soothing physical relaxation that is highly effective for managing chronic pain without causing immediate sedation. This profile makes it suitable for those seeking a moderate energy level that transitions into calm, rather than a heavy "couch-lock" effect. The strain's therapeutic benefits are supported by a terpene profile led by limonene, which provides citrus notes and mood elevation; myrcene, which contributes to its earthy aroma and physical relaxation; and caryophyllene, which adds a spicy kick and offers potential anti-inflammatory benefits. Together, these elements make Boss OG a reliable choice for consumers looking to alleviate stress and physical discomfort while maintaining a pleasant, elevated mood.

Appearance
The buds of Boss OG are typically dense and forest green, accented by vibrant orange pistils. A thick layer of crystalline trichomes coats the flowers, giving them a sticky, resinous texture and a shimmering, frosty look that signals its high potency.
Aroma
Boss OG stays true to its heritage with a pungent and complex scent. It features a heavy base of diesel and fuel, brightened by sharp notes of lemon and lime. This "telltale OG" aroma is both refreshing and skunky, filling the room quickly upon breaking a bud.
Flavor
The flavor profile is a mirror of its aromatic complexity. Users can expect a robust citrus inhale dominated by lemon-lime zest, followed by a savory, earthy, and chemical-like fuel finish that lingers on the palate.
