Overview
Citrus Rush is a high-performance hybrid cannabis strain developed through a collaboration between Archive Seed Bank and ORGNKID. By crossing Skunk Tangerine with the renowned Do-Si-Dos, breeders created a cultivar that perfectly balances sharp citrus notes with a creamy, dessert-like finish.
Effects
Citrus Rush offers a versatile experience that is highly dose-dependent, transitioning from an invigorating cerebral buzz that enhances creativity and focus in small amounts to a deeply sedative body stone that can lead to couch-lock in larger quantities. This hybrid is particularly effective for those seeking mood elevation and stress relief, while its heavier effects make it suitable for managing physical tension and insomnia. Its complex terpene profile is led by limonene, which provides intense citrus notes and mood-boosting properties, followed by myrcene for herbal relaxation, caryophyllene for peppery spice and potential anti-inflammatory benefits, and linalool for soft floral notes and enhanced calming effects. Together, these elements make Citrus Rush a flexible choice for both daytime productivity and evening relaxation, depending on the desired intensity.

Appearance
This strain is known for producing dense, chunky buds that are heavily coated in a thick layer of crystalline trichomes, giving them a frosty, silver-white appearance. The foliage typically features a mix of deep forest greens and bright lime hues, accented by vibrant orange pistils that weave through the resinous flowers.
Aroma
Citrus Rush lives up to its name with a pungent, refreshing scent profile. The primary aroma is a sharp, zesty tangerine and orange citrus, backed by a complex earthy and floral undertone inherited from its Do-Si-Dos lineage.
Flavor
The flavor profile is exceptionally smooth, often compared to orange-flavored ice cream or a citrus creamsicle. On the inhale, users experience a burst of sweet tangerine, while the exhale reveals a creamy, doughy richness with subtle hints of spice and funk.
Lineage
Citrus Rush is a hybrid cross between Skunk Tangerine and Do-Si-Dos. This genetic pairing combines the old-school, fruit-forward zest of Skunk genetics with the modern, potent, and resinous characteristics of the Girl Scout Cookies family.
Terpene Profile
- Limonene: The dominant terpene, responsible for the intense citrus aroma and mood-elevating effects.

Citrus Rush offers a versatile high that is highly dose-dependent. In smaller amounts, it provides an invigorating, cerebral buzz that enhances creativity and focus. However, in larger quantities, the Do-Si-Dos influence takes over, leading to a deeply sedative and relaxing body stone that can result in couch-lock.

- Environment: Thrives in controlled indoor environments where humidity can be monitored to protect its dense buds.
- Yield: Moderate to high, depending on the training techniques used, such as topping or SCROG.Origin
