Overview
Cloud 9 is a high-potency hybrid developed through a collaboration between Kiwiseeds and Dampkring Classics. Created to stabilize the iconic NYC Diesel clone-only strain, breeders crossed it with the indica hybrid Milky Way to enhance its structure and resin production. It is distinct from Dinafem’s Cloud #9 and is prized for its intense sensory profile.
Effects
Cloud 9 is known for a potent creeper effect that begins with a soaring cerebral euphoria and enhanced creativity, eventually transitioning into a deep, meditative body relaxation. This balanced but powerful hybrid is particularly effective for managing chronic pain, stress, and appetite loss, making it suitable for users seeking both mental stimulation and physical relief. Its complex terpene profile is led by limonene, which provides sharp citrus and fuel-like notes, and myrcene, which contributes to its earthy base and relaxing nature. Additionally, caryophyllene adds a spicy touch of black pepper, while pinene offers subtle woody and pine accents. These characteristics combine to create a sophisticated experience that starts with high-energy cerebral engagement before settling into a calming, sedative state.

Appearance
The plants typically display an indica-leaning structure but can reach significant heights. The buds are dense, chunky, and coated in a thick layer of sticky white trichomes. Deep green foliage is often accented by bright orange pistils, reflecting its rich genetic heritage.
Aroma
Cloud 9 inherited the pungent, fuel-forward scent of its NYC Diesel parent. The aroma is dominated by sharp citrus and chemical diesel notes, rounded out by earthy, sweet undertones from the Milky Way lineage.
Flavor
The flavor profile is complex and long-lasting. Users can expect a strong burst of sour grapefruit and lime on the inhale, followed by a smooth, spicy, and slightly herbal exhale with notes of sandalwood and musk.
Lineage
This strain is a cross between NYC Diesel and Milky Way. This combination merges the sativa-leaning cerebral qualities of Diesel with the heavy-hitting indica traits of Milky Way, resulting in a balanced but powerful hybrid.
