Overview
Critical Widow, bred by the renowned Mr. Nice Seeds, is a potent hybrid that expertly blends the resinous qualities of a White Widow selection with the massive yield potential and physical weight of Critical Mass. This strain is celebrated for its heavy-hitting indica characteristics and its ability to produce an abundance of medicinal-grade cannabis.
Effects
Critical Widow is a potent, mostly indica strain characterized by its fast-acting and powerful effects that begin with a mild cerebral uplift before transitioning into deep, full-body relaxation. Due to its heavy-hitting nature and significant sedative qualities, it is primarily recommended for evening use or low-energy activities. It is highly effective for managing physical ailments such as chronic pain, muscle spasms, and insomnia. The strain's therapeutic profile is supported by a terpene composition led by myrcene, which contributes to its herbal scent and deeply relaxing nature; pinene, which adds a sharp undertone and may assist with mental focus; and caryophyllene, which provides a touch of spice and offers anti-inflammatory benefits. Together, these elements make Critical Widow an excellent choice for those seeking a robust, fruity, and deeply sedative medicinal experience.

Appearance
The plants typically display a classic indica structure, being sturdy and bushy. The buds are exceptionally dense and large, often requiring support as they mature. They are characterized by a vibrant green hue, accented by a thick, shimmering blanket of white trichomes that give the flowers a "frosted" or "crystal-packed" appearance.
Aroma
Critical Widow emits a complex and inviting fragrance. It is primarily defined by a sweet, fruity essence that is punctuated by sharp, floral notes and a classic hash-like earthiness inherited from its Afghan ancestry.
Flavor
The flavor profile is smooth and rich, mirroring its aromatic bouquet. Users can expect a dominant taste of sweet berries and citrus on the inhale, followed by a spicy, woody, and slightly skunky exhale that lingers on the palate.
Lineage
This cultivar is a direct cross between two legendary parents: Critical Mass and a specific White Widow hybrid. This genetic combination ensures a balance between the high resin production of the Widow and the heavy-branching, high-yielding traits of the Critical lineage. It is a mostly indica strain.
