Overview
Gas Mask is a heavy-hitting, pungent hybrid developed by Pacific NW Roots, known for its intense fuel-like aroma and deeply relaxing effects. This strain was created through a collaboration with the renowned breeders at Exotic Genetix, solidifying its reputation as a Pacific Northwest staple.
Effects
Gas Mask is a potent cannabis strain known for its heavy, long-lasting high that begins with a mind-numbing cerebral sensation before settling into a weighted physical relaxation. This deep sedation makes it ideal for low-energy activities and evening use, as it frequently leads to couch-lock. It is particularly effective for managing ailments such as chronic stress, tension, and insomnia. The strain's complex terpene profile is led by myrcene, which provides herbal notes and sedative qualities; limonene, which adds a citrus zest and elevates the initial mood; and caryophyllene, which contributes a spicy kick while supporting physical relaxation. Together, these elements make Gas Mask a standout choice for experienced users seeking intense relief and deep physical sedation.

Appearance
The buds of Gas Mask are typically dense and heart-shaped, displaying a deep forest green hue with occasional flashes of dark purple. They are adorned with thin orange pistils and a thick, sticky layer of translucent trichomes that hint at its potency.
Aroma
True to its name, Gas Mask features an incredibly pungent scent dominated by heavy notes of diesel and chemical fuel. This industrial profile is balanced by a subtle, underlying sweetness and a hint of overripe, skunky citrus that becomes more apparent as the buds are broken apart.
Flavor
The flavor profile is robust and savory, coating the palate with tastes of damp earth and spicy kief. On the exhale, a sharp gaseous tang lingers, accompanied by a faint, sour citrus aftertaste.
Lineage
Gas Mask was created by backcrossing a Cherry Pie and Alien Kush F2 hybrid. This genetic lineage combines the sweet, doughy influence of Cherry Pie with the potent, spacey characteristics of Alien Kush.
