Overview
London Poundcake, also known as London Pound Cake or LPC, is a premiere indica-dominant hybrid developed by the legendary Cookies Fam. This strain has gained immense popularity for its exceptional flavor profile and heavy-hitting effects that cater to both connoisseurs and therapeutic users.
Effects
London Poundcake is a potent indica-dominant hybrid that delivers a powerful combination of cerebral and physical effects. The high begins with a mood-elevating cerebral lift that leaves users feeling blissed out and mentally at ease, which quickly transitions into a heavy, sedating body high often resulting in "couch-lock." Because of these deep relaxation properties, it is best suited for low-energy activities or evening use. Its therapeutic profile makes it highly effective for managing stress, depression, and chronic pain. These effects are supported by a rich terpene profile led by limonene, which provides sharp citrus notes and mood elevation; caryophyllene, which adds a touch of spice and aids in physical relaxation; and myrcene, which enhances the strain's herbal undertones and promotes deep sedation.

Appearance
This strain produces dense, spade-shaped buds that are typically olive green with deep purple hues. It is covered in a thick layer of tiny, bright white crystal trichomes and accented by thin, fiery orange hairs, giving it a frosty and striking shelf appeal.
Aroma
London Poundcake is celebrated for its complex and "loud" aromatic profile. It emits a pungent, doughy scent reminiscent of freshly baked cake, layered with intense notes of tart berries, sweet grapes, and a sharp, gassy finish.
Flavor
The taste follows the aroma closely, offering a delicious dessert-like experience. On the inhale, users experience a smooth blend of sweet berries and grapes, while the exhale reveals a zingy lemon and citrus overtone that balances the doughy sweetness.
Lineage
LPC is a sophisticated cross between the famous Sunset Sherbert and an undisclosed heavy-hitting indica. This secretive genetic backing contributes to its unique potency and distinct terpene richness.
