Overview
Sour Jack is a high-energy sativa-dominant hybrid that has earned a stellar reputation for its intense sensory profile and powerful cerebral effects. By crossing two of the most iconic sativa strains in cannabis history, breeders created a cultivar that perfectly balances the sharp, fuel-like notes of diesel with the spicy, herbal complexity of Jack Herer.
Effects
Sour Jack is a high-energy sativa-dominant hybrid known for its rapid onset and profound cerebral effects that enhance focus, creativity, and mental clarity. It provides a significant burst of physical energy and is highly effective at minimizing body fatigue, making it an ideal choice for daytime use and staying active. Its terpene profile is led by terpinolene, which contributes to its herbal scent and antioxidant properties; caryophyllene, which adds a spicy kick and aids with inflammation; myrcene, which provides earthy notes to ground the high energy; and limonene, which enhances its citrus flavor and promotes mood elevation. These characteristics make Sour Jack a preferred strain for those looking to combat depression, chronic stress, and lethargy.
