Multistate operator MariMed Inc. is exiting the Missouri market immediately following a strategic review of its business operations there. The company had been managing the Missouri operations of another licensed cannabis operator since 2024 under an agreement while awaiting license transfer approval, but will no longer manage the facility or seek the transfer. MariMed expects this exit to improve its financial performance and allow management to focus resources on higher-return opportunities, as it continues to own or manage 13 dispensaries and six cultivation and processing facilities across Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

*NORWOOD, Mass.* — After a strategic review of its Missouri business
operations, multistate operator MariMed Inc. has decided to exit the
market, effectively immediately.

Since 2024, the company has managed the Missouri operations of another
licensed cannabis operator and distributed certain of its brands in the
state under a Managed Services and Licensing Agreement while awaiting
license transfer approval from the state. The company will no longer manage
the facility and will no longer seek the license transfer.

MariMed continues to own or manage 13 dispensaries and six cultivation and
processing facilities in Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio,
and Pennsylvania. Management expects exiting Missouri will improve the
company’s overall financial performance and allow management to focus
resources on higher-return opportunities.
