Weedmaps Hosts Star-Studded Kickback Event with DJ Mustard and Larry June

On *Saturday, August 30th*, Weedmaps successfully launched its *Kickback
event*, with an unforgettable day-long experience in Los Angeles with
surprise performances from DJ Mustard and Larry June. Held at Love Hour LA,
the Kickback LA gathered more than 500 guests, including cannabis insiders,
influential tastemakers, and brand partners, for a celebration that blended
art, music, and cannabis culture.

together. The Kickback series is about strengthening relationships between
brands, artists, and the community, while showcasing the culture that
continues to move cannabis forward,” said SVP, Markets & Culture, *Jonathan
JJ Jones*.

The Kickback LA featured a range of activations that captured the heart of
the Los Angeles market. *A Dab Bar *featuring leading brands provided
product sampling throughout the day, while Puffco elevated the experience
with raffle giveaways. Guests had the opportunity to engage with legendary
artists from The Seventh Letter, participate in Q&A sessions, and watch a
live mural come to life. Exclusive merch, including limited-edition prints,
apparel, and accessories, tapped into the collective’s iconic streetwear
roots.
