Initial Thoughts 

Moon Fog is a strain that has gained quite the reputation in many online forums, grower's podcasts and old smoker’s tables around the country. This indica-dominant strain was bred by Humboldt Seed Company and is one of their newest offerings. It's known to carry a well balanced euphoric high and in some smoke circles is becoming a go to nighttime strain.

Appearance 

Absolutely stunning bag appeal! The rich colors pop when the light hits them. The frosty nugs show beautiful silver and light-purple coloring with flashes of orange hairs throughout. This isn’t a strain to break down too far; leaving the nugs bulky and intact lets you experience how it looked on the plant. Crack one open and a beautifully green hue reveals a sticky, trichome-bomb center. 

Status 

Jar-stable and cured over 3–4 weeks by what appears to be an expert in the field. A wonderful trim job that isn’t overdone, leaving every bit of frost, color, and bag appeal intact. 

Aroma 

In the jar it’s gassy, with baby powder and cream notes. Breaking it up brings a floral punch that is waiting inside. 

Flavor 

In a clean glass piece, the octane comes through more when the nugs are less broken up. However, this weed is great for nighttime joint enthusiasts. The floral notes inside the buds pairs perfectly with a chamomile tea. If you ever get a chance to try Moon Fog, take your time and break it up with your fingers.

Effects 

At first onset, the high starts in the body with great muscle relaxation and noticeable pain relief. After a few more powerful pulls, a wonderful dream-like euphoria sets in. This leads into a beautiful, narcotic punch that puts the user in a dream-like trance, ready to ride into slumberland. Moon Fog’s medicinal effects don’t get enough credit, but that will change when more patients get turned on to its ability to calm, de-stress, and manage pain.
