Initial Thoughts
Here's a pretty solid batch of Blue Dream that's currently available at DC i-71 storefront dispensary, Giving Tree. I think most stoners are familiar with Blue Dream at this point - it's been quite popular for about a decade now - but if you're not this is a good one to get acquainted with it. I also happen to think this is a pretty good "on-ramp" sativa for those who haven't dipped their toe into that side of the cannabis realm before.

Pale green buds with lots of light orange pistils and layers of white trichomes.

Cheesy, earthy, and slightly fruity.
Flavor
Just like the aroma, but with a little more cheese and notes of sour mixed in as well.
Lineage
The Blue Dream strain is a cross of Blueberry and Haze that runs sativa dominant at roughly 60/40.
Effects
Waves of energetic uplifting vibes along with a focused mindset and heavy bodily bound euphoria. Eventually it will result in more relaxing vibes where spacing out with be commonplace for the user. A great wake n' bake and daytime toke. Typically does not cause social awkwardness and shouldn't have any edginess either.
Conclusion
Without many sativa options of high quality around, definitely consider adding some of this Blue Dream to your shopping list this weekend.
