Initial Thoughts
It’s always a good day when a DC MOTA vape comes across my desk, and since this premium switchable vape pen comes with two whole grams I’ll be switching back and forth between Sour Diesel and Blue Dream for the foreseeable future. Appearance
It’s easy to overlook all the little details that DC MOTA does right since this vape is so sleek, but my favorite part has to be the colored dots that indicate which tank is which. In this way, it's much easier to make sure I’m hitting that golden distillate from the desired tank.
Flavor
The Blue Dream has a straight up blueberry taste to it, while the Sour D is a little more complex and actually tastes slightly different than last time I had DC MOTA's Sour vape, this time being more lip puckering sour than a skunky sour.
Lineage
The Sour Diesel strain is a cross of Chemdawg and Super Skunk that runs sativa dominant. Blue Dream strain is a cross of Blueberry and Haze that runs slightly sativa dominant.
Effects
Sour Diesel is my go-to for a burst of energy and positivity. As soon as I take a hit, I feel an instant excitement that fills the room with laughter and good vibes. On the other hand, Blue Dream offers a more laid-back and hazy experience. Its effects come on more slowly, putting my motivation in question, but allowing me to unwind worry free.
