Italian Ice - Green Light DC

In honor of all the mobster movie stars that have died recently including James Caan (The Godfather), Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas), Ray Liotta (Goodfellas), and Tony Sirico (The Sopranos) we're reviewing this Italian Ice from DC recreational (i-71) storefront, Green Light DC. Yeah, so one of those guys isn't Italian, but he did play in two Godfathers so that's just gonna have to be ok, capeesh?

An indica dominant hybrid cross of Gelato 45 and Forbidden fruit that runs about 60/40, this batch is one that would make any gangster nice and relaxed after a long day earning. But, not too relaxed. You gotta stay focused and not slip up so you can keep kicking upstairs to the big guy, ya know? Luckily, no couch lock here, just a pleasant and full body buzz potent enough for even the fattest fat cats.

With a creamy, skunky aroma and flavor much like a Gelato, but even sweeter and with a touch of fruitiness, you'll want to roll this one up to partake. It's still supple and sticky, but some curing and oxidation have happened which I think makes it perfect for the joint or even cannagar. Hey, what could be better than a nice, tasty stogie of dank after some gabagool, am I right?

So make your rounds, make some clams, hell even make your book for the weekend, but then make your way to the Green Light storefront on Georgia Avenue and, bada bing bada boom, grab some of this Italian Ice for your own stash. Don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you!
