Initial Thoughts:
I'm in love with this batch of Limeade from DC cannabis (i-71) storefront Cheeba. It's got a funky, zesty, citrus aroma with hints of gasoline, pinesol, and skunk. You might easily mistake it for some Lemon Cherry Gelato at first, but once you roll it up and partake the immensely uplifting sativa buzz lets you know it's distinctly more energizing.
Appearance:
Bright green with flecks of dark turquoise beneath a heavy layer of hyper-white trichomes.
Status:
Fresh, but beginning to cure.
Aroma:
Lemon-lime zest with hints of pinesol, gas, and skunk. The longer you smell it the more complex the aroma seems to get.
Flavor:
A splendid combination of citrus, pine, musk, and skunk that makes you want to roll it up constantly. Even the aftertaste makes you want to lick your lips.
Lineage:
The genetic lineage of Limeade is unclear due to the multitude of different cultivars with that name. However, the one that has been referenced in several places is Key Lime Pie Cookies x Grateful Breath, which is described as a balanced, but energetic cerebral high - seems fitting to me.
Effects:
This batch absolutely rips and will blast you off with an immediate cerebral high that is very uplifting, in my opinion. You may find yourself doing jumping stars and skipping across the room after pulling a nice tube of this, but eventually you'll make your way back to a more calm and euphoric state of bliss. Note that it's not a great one for mental clarity, however, as the mindscape it creates is what I would describe as "spacey".
