Initial Thoughts
Happy Dab Week everybody! Check out this dab worthy specimen from DC i-71 storefront The Green Room. I was not familiar with Boomba Labs until this gorgeous batch of OG Skywalker diamonds slid across my desk. Now, I'm eager to become better acquainted. What can I say? I love ddddiiiiiiiiiaaamonnnddsssss. So, what's a girl to do? 💎
Appearance
...and the answer is crack this baby open and have a look in side. What greeted my eye an instant later were these sparkling, pale yellow, translucent crystals. All I could say was, "Ohhh they're so pretty!"
Status
Cold (fresh from refrigeration), round, shiny, and ready to roast.
Aroma
It's a subtle aroma that's very floral and slightly gasoline. Hard to compare to anything other than fresh flowers, but even harder to pin down what type. Let's call it a bouquet of fresh wild flowers...with a nearby gas can.
Flavor
More of the same with floral accents and a skunky, gassy aftertaste.
Lineage
Skywalker OG is a cross of Skywalker and OG Kush that's indica heavy at something like 85/15. Skywalker itself is famous for its pungent skunky and earthy flavor, but runs more balanced than its OG blended offspring.
Effects
Very powerful indica effects. This one possesses the means for a tremendous whole body high that sent me sprawling on the couch - and nearly the floor. One would expect diamonds to be extremely potent due to the high THC content, but this batch seems to have captured a good amount of terpenes and cannabinoids even though the sample isn't very saucy. It's this entourage effect along with the THC that has you visiting the Cloud City from The Empire Strikes Back (in your mind of course). <-The Toker's Guide team said that given the name I had to work in a Star Wars reference or two.
Conclusion
You'll want to hold on to your lightsaber when you take dabs of these OG Skywalker Diamonds, but if you're looking for something solidly in the indica column with immense potency, this is it.
