Initial Thoughts
This colorful, trichome-covered batch of Watermelon Runtz from DC i-71 storefront Top Level DC has buds that are on the smaller side, but packs a delicious and potent punch. From the moment I first opened the jar the quality was apparent given the aroma that emanated outward and around the room.
Appearance
These buds are light green with lots of purple patches and heavy trichome coverage.
Aroma
Like most Runtz varietals this one's aroma is a delicious and complex mixture of subtle fruit, pine, and gas. Different than other runtz there is more sweet fruitiness than usual, though I'm not sure that I would pick watermelon as the scent. Either way it has a really nice nose.
Flavor
The flavor is more of the same mysterious candy fruitiness, but with a strong gassiness that has become standard with Runtz cuts.

Effects
This batch of Watermelon Runtz packs a great body high that's palpable from just a few seconds after the first exhale. It spreads throughout your body with such force and quickness it makes you want to say "Ahhh" like you just sat down in a comfy reclining chair. Great for evening time sessions it won't knock you out, but tranquil sleep was no problem for me.
