  • Phantom Cherry Pie - No Kids Allowed

An indica dominant cross of Phantom Cookies and Cherry Pie strains, this Phantom Cherry Pie is a mesmerizingly delicious recent specimen from DC i-71 storefront No Kids Allowed. It's so flavorful you have to wonder if the "Phantom" in the name is because it disappears so fast and leaves nothing but its strong aroma behind. Perfect for rolling up in a Gud paper given how well it breaks up, it's also remarkably smooth and fruity in the exhale. It reminds me of Summer for some reason - perhaps the sun combined with the fruit forward stance just makes me think of tropical cocktails somewhere on a beach. If they could bottle this terpene profile it would make a pretty remarkable boat drink now that I think of it. Continuing with the beach theme, this is the stuff that will keep a smile on your face while sunbathing, lounging, or floating in the ocean. Doing nothing in the warm glow of the sun feels great, and the euphoric nature of the buzz simply magnifies the pleasure of these effects. Put some mellow music on and you might even start thinking about becoming a full-time beach bum. Just make sure you don't drift so far afield in thought that you lose sight of the mainland. Couch-lock on a float can be hazardous! To experience these relaxed, fruity, indica vibes for yourself just head over to DC storefront No Kids Allowed ASAP and catch this Phantom Cherry Pie before it vanishes. • Kush Mints - District Derp

They say April showers bring May flowers. Well the flowers have arrived - just look at this Kush Mints specimen that came to me, for example - but what's with all the rain? 😂 I'm a big fan of Kush Mints most of the time I see it, but especially when it's as fine and fresh as this batch from DC i-71 delivery specialists, District Derp. This is definitely going in my rotation for this weekend and with a tilt that's pretty close to 50/50, I'll be able to keep my eyes open and a steady buzz while streaming some shows on these rainy, overcast days ahead. A cross of Animal Mints and Bubba Kush that typically tests above 25% THC, this particular cut seems true to form in aroma and flavor. It's got a heavy pine stance with notes of lemon, mint, and some exotic kushyness to boot. Most of the team loves how it breaks up and rolls with ease while producing a remarkably smooth and mystic smoke. The sheer volume of the trichomes are a clear indicator that this was grown to the highest standards and that the genetic inputs were some of the choicest selections. The fluffiness and the hyper-white ash left over in the bong also tell me that she was flushed, dried, and handled with a similarly excellent level of care. What you could do is grab some of the awesome pup-painted art from District Derp, hang it on your wall, and then toke some of these epic Kush Mints. Once you do, look back at the pup art and think about what images, scenes, and objects you can imagine in the abstract forms. For me it was a welcomed break from the tube, but what I imagined kept turning into visions of food items like pizza and chips. I think we all know what happened next...🤤 What will you see in your work of puppy art? There's only one way to find out! So, hit up DC i-71 service District Derp today and grab some of these outstanding Kush Mints to help get you through your dreary weekend. Don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you!

  • Joker - Elevated Lounge DC

No Joking around, you gotta check out this CRAZY good batch of Joker (aka "Sour Joker") from i-71 storefront Elevated Lounge DC. It's got all the creativity inspiring energy you sativa heads have been looking for and it hits so hard you might start seeing those big KAPOW signs like from the Batman shows of old. Except, these will be over your own head and caused by the Joker, not a caped crusader. But, let's be clear, this particular Joker is certainly no villain. In fact, it's an immensely sativa dominant hybrid cross of two of my favorites from a prior era, Amnesia Haze and East Coast Sour Diesel. With an aroma full of lemons, coffee grounds, and diesel fuel it might even make the ends of your mouth turn up just a little too far in the form of a smile. The coloration just couldn't be any better given the name. From the purples to the lime greens and funky, fiery oranges, I'm pretty sure these are the vast majority of the colors in the Joker's wardrobe too. Just imagine what kind of awesome pipes that guy must have stashed away. 🧐 To check out some of this Joker for yourself just head over to DC i-71 storefront Elevated Lounge ASAP and tell them that Toker's Guide sent you. If you find yourself in a non-stop giggle fest with an urge to create a little mayhem don't say we didn't warn you! That's just the Joker kicking in.

  • Purple Widow - Kali Kraves DC

This Purple Widow from DC i-71 delivery aficionados, Kali Kraves, is a pretty special batch that deserves your immediate attention. This is not just in terms of the genetics - a rarely seen old school combo of Purple Power and White Widow - but especially because of how absolutely sexy it is. A nearly balanced hybrid, we love it for its ability to induce a tranquil, joyous state of mind. One where you get to control the energy levels and the flow of the buzz outward to your extremities without the need to catch a quick weed nap. But, can we talk about these trichomes for a second? They are fresh and frosty to say the least and, noting the same with the stigmas, this has clearly been handled with care to have them all intact in this manner. Fruity with sour and sweet notes combining in your nose and mouth, the Purple Widow will attempt to dominate all your senses if you let her....and why not? Go ahead and grab the grinder and your bong (our preferred method with this batch) and enjoy ripping this one down nearly anytime of day. To get some of this phenomenal Purple Widow for your own stash just hit up DC's Kali Kraves ASAP. Don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you!

  • Bubblegum Gelato - Top Level DC

If you're looking for designer exotics at the top level, but don't want to waste your time on a beautiful pack with sub-par contents, look no further than DC i-71 storefront...Top Level. They keep their fine flower in glass jars, not mylar, which helps ensure that the gorgeous flower gifts they have on hand retain their excellence. 🤩 A cross of Gelato 45 and the infamous indica, Bubblegum, this is an indica-leaning hybrid that has some amazing colors including deep midnight blues that fade to bright violet on the edges. As a living plant, prior to harvest, I bet these were some very pretty ladies to gaze upon. I'd also bet that their genetics were selected from some of the best around. A bit sweeter than your standard Gelato, the Bubblegum certainly does its part and also makes its presence known relative to effects. There seemed to be waves of euphoria for a good duration after I rolled some of this up, and I can't tell you how many times I caught another whiff of the extinguished, partially smoked "J" and said, "Hey it smells like someone else has some chronic around here!" - a testament to its aromatic potency. So go see our friends at storefront Top Level DC and check out their line of designer exotics and other delectable selections today. Don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you!

  • Gumbo - The Gift Givers

The always super friendly and customer service oriented folks over at DC i-71 delivery service, The Gift Givers, have another delightful strain on their hands in this "Gumbo". Named for its bubble gum flavor, she leans toward the indica side and one would be wise to bet that she packs high terpene levels as well. 🧪 This batch in particular had a sweet, but hashy aroma that accelerated dramatically in pungency when squeezed or crushed. If you could waft the air above your grinder into a jar after grinding this you might be able to claim it as a valuable fragrance, but you're probably best just loading it in a GUD paper and burning it down instead. With super secretive genetics, the background of this bud is virtually unknown to the general public. However, I would say that the super unique structure and almost familiar aroma make me want to think this is a cross of Bubblegum and some type of OG Kush. In any case, it has the mind-melting, body-buzz-wielding indica effects of a great nighttime treat. To get your hands on some of this delicious Gumbo just hit up DC i-71 delivery service The Gift Givers ASAP. Don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you for your free bonus edible!

  • Four New Alt Sol Strains for Your Consideration (DC Medical)

Check out these four fire strains just harvested and now available at a DC medical dispensary near you. They're from our favorite craft DC medical cultivators Alternative Solutions (aka Alt Sol) and they are, in no particular order: Bruce Banner, Gummiez 20, Gelatti Mints, and El Chivo. Bruce Banner Just as pain or injustice could spark Bruce Banner's transition into the Incredible Hulk, so too could one spark applied to this Bruce Banner flower transition you into a more Hulk-like state. Though listed as 50/50, we think of it as more of a sativa lover's delight. It possesses a driving sense of energy combined with an innate ability to wrangle pain and crush anxiety like any super hero should. A cross of Strawberry Diesel and OG Kush you're a party to some amazing genetics every time you pick up some Alt Sol buds, and that is certainly the case here. From the coloration - flecks of dark aquamarine against pale lime - to the impeccable state of trichomes - fresh, twinkling everywhere - this bud has all the appearances of a finely crafted specimen. From an olfactory and gustatory perspective, the theme of utmost quality continues as the blend of gassy, skunky, sour, fruity, and even notes of fresh ground coffee emanate from a bud crushed in your fingers. An ideal daytime toke for those looking to tackle a heavy to do list with clarity and vigor, I've been nearly able to leap talk buildings in a single bound with some Bruce Banner on board this week. Gummiez 20 Another daytime toke, but with a stance that is a little less clear to me, is this Gummiez cut or Peach Rings x Jet Fuel Gelato. I really enjoy it's effervescent fruit forward aroma, but the flavor is a little off for me personally. It's still of the highest quality, and maybe you'll say it's just right for your palate, but I wasn't into it that much. I guess we'd probably select different jelly beans at the jelly bean store too, and that's ok. Her effects, however, were very appealing. It was a gentle, haze-like high that spurred an active and creative mindset. A clear difference between the Gummiez and the Bruce Banner in my mind, was the effects of the mind. The Bruce was more physically driving while the Gummiez were much more mentally stimulating. Note that mixing the Gummiez with the Bruce Banner seemed to be a big hit when we rolled them up together. Separately, I would pick the Banner over the Gummiez for my personal needs which include digestive issues, anxiety, and retaining the ability to perform complex tasks well. Gellati Mints My new Alt Sol favorite, and one of this squad of four, is this phenomenal Gellati Mints. It's a total gasoholic's dream with so much heavy skunky, creamy, funky flavor you might be confused as to whether you should make a "yum" or "ew" face at first. Seconds later, however, pure enjoyment reigns as you realize just how exotic these buds must be to have created such an immense flavor factory in your mouth. Don't worry, that's just the benefits of select genetics and expert craft cultivation coming together for DC patients. A veritable who's who of balanced 50/50's, this is Gellati (Gelato x Biscotti - 50/50) crossed with Kush Mints (also 50/50), and also runs 50/50. While I agree with this stance, I found that I did get a little drowsy if I was to partake in her splendor in the morning. Therefore, I found myself rolling this up most frequently after lunch and as the day progressed. Definitely try toking this one in as many different ways as you can just to experience all the nuances of her flavor profile. I eventually landed back with the trusty binger - I guess I just love a frosty cold hit of this gas the most (incredible head rush notwithstanding) from glass. El Chivo Described as a "powerful indica hybrid from California" this OGKB x Grape Gasoline is known as El Chivo or "The Goat" for good reason. Her intense indica euphoria and heavily sedating effects make it a great night time choice. However, you may find yourself taking midday weednaps after wanting to taste the mouthwatering flavor during daylight hours too. We found the coloration and the enormity of the trichomes on the El Chivo to be super impressive and other more indica-prone people commented that it was one of their new favorites given their issues with neck pain and insomnia. If you're looking for a new indica for your rotation and you're into fruit forward kushes this could become your G.O.A.T. too. 🐐 Overall, Alt Sol's overt commitment to quality and producing the finest end product for their consumers is supremely evident with all of these batches. With so many outstanding choices waiting for DC medical patients across the District, the only problem left is: How much should you get of each one?

  • Bacio - Flight Pass DC

We've been thoroughly enjoying the harvests coming in from DC i-71 storefront Flight Pass recently and this Bacio is up there with the more exotic and potently impressive batches. Regrettably, we didn't get to it sooner and it may have already sold out, but we wanted to give you a sense of their quality nonetheless. If it is gone, we're confident anything from their "First Class" level will more than satisfy the most refined connoisseur's palate. We have to ask though: Is there a secret "Private Jet" level too? 🤫😂 Bacio, or Bacio Gelato, is a balanced cross of Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies that runs pretty much right down the middle at 50/50 on the indica/sativa ratio. We love it for its wonderfully vibrant, gleeful effects that are paired with the kind of healing, euphoric vibes typically reserved for Kushes. Twist her up and the flavor becomes a mixing bowl of sweet, gassy, creamy, and nutty that will make your mouth water with every hit. In the bong, the flavor is less pronounced, but the intensity of the initial onset when toked in this manner is totally worth experiencing. So head over to the always impressive DC storefront Flight Pass ASAP and check out their awesome menu of fresh, super funky flower gifts. Don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you!

  • RS 11 - Exotic Organics DC

Check out this batch of RS 11 from DC i-71 delivery service Exotic Organics. We're big fans of this particular varietal, which stands for Rainbow Sherbert 11. Originally a Doja creation, she's a cross of Gelato, Rainbow Sherbert, Skittlez, and OG kush and she runs slightly indica heavy. Better than taking the rainbow bridge in Mario Kart, this bud delivers a whirlwind of fun for all your senses. 🌈 Sweet, fruity, tart, and piney, almost everyone I've met who has encountered this strain has had an affinity for the flavor profile. This batch is no different and you may consider taking preventative measures to keep people from sticking their nose in your stash jar for too long. The frosty trichomes glisten against a forest of rich, lime green while the fiery orange hairs seem to reach out like tentacles. When you go to break her up and pack a pipe or roll one, definitely include a grinder in your preparations. Your fingers, still able to move independently without a coating of resinous glue, will thank you later. So hit up Exotic Organics DC today and grab some of this outstanding RS 11 for yourself. • Black Train - Kali Kraves

This "Black Train" (actually Blackberry Trainwreck imo) from DC i-71 service Kali Kraves is a highly exotic looking cross of Blackberry Kush and Trainwreck that is sure to turn some heads. The buds of this batch are so dark, in fact, that a friend of mine with little cannabis experience mistook them for charcoal at a glance. It may not be charcoal, but it definitely turns into fire once lit! 😂 Running at a balanced 50/50 indica to sativa ratio, we really like that this is an amalgamation of two distinctly different sets of cannabis effects in one unique package. You can easily feel the kushy, euphoric vibes and cozyness of the Blackberry Kush influence, but only once the initial wave of heady hazy energy from the Trainwreck has washed over you. There's still some mental spacyness and you might be best thinking of this as great weed to party with, but not work on. The flavor and aroma scream sweet and fruity with a tinge of tartness, much like an actual blackberry, making for great contents to load into a blunt wrap or GUD paper. The smoke is smooth and the exhale is enchanting with a latent bite that will make you choke up a little if you go overboard in the rotation. But, maybe you just had that kind of a day. One where you want to hit the blunt too hard, sputter a bit, and veg out on some video games for a while. This Blackberry Trainwreck might be the perfect solution to your train wreck of a day. To get some of this mega exotic, delectably fruity, and highly potent batch for your own supplies, just hit up the delightful Kali Kraves and setup your delivery today. Don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you!

  • Oreo - Buddha Buddy DC

Given Buddha Buddy's continuing commitment to quality flower gifts - which come in slender, but durable, glass jars - we were excited to check out this new batch of Oreo. It's a cross of Cookies & Cream and Secret Weapon and its flavor profile, while not really like an Oreo cookie, is quite nutty with little hints of chocolate - very delicious! Other batches of Oreo (or Oreoz) we've seen around town in recent times have been a little "longer in the tooth" and more cured (or with high oxidation levels). These buds are still starry with trichomes retaining a fresh stance and covering the sizable, mature bracts. Also note the coloration, with greens that further indicate freshness and hues of deep, almost black, blues and purples. You would be correct to surmise that this batch was cultivated at or near the highest level of care and nutrients. We love it for it's innate ability to absolutely stone us, but in a way that's so enticingly delicious we can't stop rolling it up. With buds of this quality, though, if you are going to roll a joint we recommend completely natural and organic GUD papers for the job. After all, why smoke great, natural bud like this in a crappy paper? So hit up highly reputable and super friendly DC i-71 service Buddha Buddy ASAP and grab some of this awesome Oreo flower for yourself. Don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you!

  • Khalifa Kush - Elevated Lounge DC

Full disclosure, there was a mix up on the hand off and in the confusion some of this bud was rolled up prior to photos by mistake. At least, that's how the story is being told 😂. Nevertheless, check out this Khalifa Kush over at DC i-71 storefront Elevated Lounge. It's so good it didn't even make it to our door in one piece! An OG Kush-based varietal bred specifically for legendary urban poet and rap lyricist Wiz Khalifa, it's indica-heavy in lineage, but it's known for being highly energetic too. They say it's the wake and bake special in some circles, and I agree while also needing to note its very mystical, spiritual resonance. I'd say that the inputs for this Kush were likely chosen foremost for their heady effects, and some energy is just the natural accompaniment. As more of a visual artist, I don't think that I could become any kind of decent rapper, but I could see how the creative juices unleashed by this batch could help you get into the "flow". For me, I was easily able to jam on some designs I've been creating, and the music I put on in the background was almost extrasensory while doing so. To fill your coffers with some of this chronic Khalifa Kush just head over to Elevated Lounge DC today. I don't know if it will help set you on the path to fame as a rap star, but you'll sure feel fantastic trying. Don't forget to tell them you heard about it on Toker's Guide!
