Sometimes it's hard to express to people just how trich'd out a batch of bud is. When I opened the jar of this Tropicanna Pie from DC recreational (i-71) storefront Top Level DC, for example, I exclaimed, "Oh yeah! Now that's SEXY!" Let's just say that didn't go over well with the Mrs. 🤦♂️. But, the takeaway for those tokers in the audience is that this is some fantastic cheebah that you should make moves to obtain quickly before it's gone.
I love it for its funky, funky nose and flavor. It's so hard to place what it is specifically, but it's something like wheat pie crust meets spicy orange marmalade. There are certainly skunky notes that come out in the aftertaste, and the citrus aspect is very light. Maybe an orange gingersnap? When I left the jar open for a minute there was a sweeter creaminess that I came back to as well. What a unique and delightful experience for the whole palate!
Likely a cross of sativa-leaning Tropicanna ((Pineapple x Kali Mist) x Northern Lights) and Cherry Pie (Grandaddy Purple x Durban Poison) this runs slightly indica dominant but has relatively balanced effects. In fact, I found it to be a well-rounded hybrid that allowed me to function well in the afternoon and evening even though I was sporting an awesome full-body and head high. The corners of my mouth were definitely tilted up all afternoon and when I finally got around to rolling a joint of her after dinner she was the perfect dessert and night cap wrapped in one.
