Initial Thoughts

The latest and greatest offering from DC i-71 marijuana dispensary, MASC, is the Basqui Gumbo Strain. These buds immediately caught my eye due to their unique and rare red-hued appearance.

The dominant feature was the striking red hue that adorned the buds, primarily due to the profusion of crimson pistils. This dominated the blend of dark and light greens underneath and was only superseded by a layer of lovely white and starry trichomes throughout.

Sweet and fruity scents.

A spicy kick at first and then a seamless transition into creamy vanilla with a subtle berry-like finish.

The Basqui Gumbo strain has unknown genetic origins, but from my experience it acts balanced like a 50/50 hybrid at first, and then devolves into a lazy, indica-like high after a while.

After smoking some Basqui Gumbo I found myself experiencing a rhythmic acceleration of my heartbeat that started to pulse through my body. A warmth descended upon my legs, imbuing them with a heaviness that was far from sedating. Instead, it provided a soothing and grounding presence, anchoring me in the present moment. Although my eyelids grew increasingly heavy, there was no overwhelming urge to seek rest. Probably still best left for late afternoon or early evening, though, given the highly relaxing nature.

This strain's ability to induce a rhythmic sense of calm combined with a medley of complex flavors, sets it apart as a noteworthy option for both seasoned connoisseurs and newcomers to the world of cannabis. So, before it's too late, head into MASC and pick up these or some of their other exotic designer buds today. Don’t forget to mention that Toker’s Guide sent you!
