Initial Thoughts
Dealing with low THC percentages has been a problem in the VA medical program for as long as I have been a patient. I’m coming up on my renewal next month, and after almost a year I am finally seeing flower that consistently tests over 20%+. Blue Cookies phenotypes normally average a high THC content but this batch in particular was cultivated by gLeaf and is testing at 29.26% THC. Its aroma and effects are super potent, so take your time enjoying this strain, just as you would with a delicious cookie 🍪. This batch of Blue Cookies is likely to overwhelm a novice user so if you are just starting out I’d recommend picking up something a little more mild.
Appearance
Visually attractive buds that range in green color. The trichomes leave a yellow layer covering the buds and they camouflage the light orange pistils.

Long, fluffy, sizable buds.

Skunky and Cheesy. It has a very potent smell immediately after opening the lid.
Flavor
Earthy with a warm exhale of blueberry that left my mouth watering.
Lineage
The offspring of Blueberry and Girl Scout Cookies. The exact ratio is up to debate but I would say around 80/20 favoring indica.
Effects
After just a few tokes, I could tell my headspace was starting to get spacey. Seconds started to feel like minutes and everything felt like it was happening in slow motion. I think by the time I finished up my joint, my eyelids were shut from how heavy they had gotten. I continued to battle them, fighting to try and keep them open while cleaning up and heading inside. I noticed my limbs started to get heavy and they felt like they had their own gravitational pull straight into the ground. This strain left me stoned with its very heavy body high.
Conclusion
This batch of Blue Cookies was the strongest of all the THC percentages from gLeafs Platinum pricing line, and some of the most potent flower I’ve smoked in a while. Even though they were not perfect, this strain is hard to pass up on if you are an experienced user. It’s strong and its potency is guaranteed to get the job done. I’ve been impressed with how much progress gLeaf has made in the quality of recent batches they have cultivated. It makes me excited for rumors I’ve been hearing from the budtenders about gLeaf offering a premium level that will be above the platinum tier that is currently available.
