Initial Thoughts:
There was nothing on the all-black container that this sample came in other than "Black Canister", which seemed self-evident from appearances. Curiosity piqued, I opened said canister only to be immediately overtaken by the incredibly intense, but awesomely gassy aroma of the total fire that was within.
Appearance:
Heavy, hyper-white trichomes clustered everywhere. Specimen is mostly white with flecks of aquamarine. Internally trichomes are still starry.
Structure:
Buds are spear-shaped with moderate density. Mildly crisp but with some sponginess when breaking open.
Status:
Fresh, but curing is underway.
Aroma:
Gassy and spicy with floral hints of lavender.
Flavor:
Gassy, skunky, and savory with hints of cream and tart berries.
Lineage:
An indica dominant phenotype of the typically more balanced High Octane strain which is the result of crossing Sunset Sherbet with Octane.
Effects:
Heady and stoney with immense euphoria at onset that dissolves into a soothing state of relaxation and calm. Can cause drowsiness. Users have commented on this strain's ability to help with insomnia, anxiety, stress, and chronic pain.
Conclusion:
The team is a huge fan of this batch, especially the indica lovers. Really great for a stoning evening session with friends before watching a movie or streaming a show. Just be sure to keep plenty of beverages and some munchies nearby. This one is going at the forefront of the indica side of my stash box.
