One of our most favorite and consistently reliable DC i-71 services is Buddha Buddy DC. With this latest batch, what they are calling "50/50", the tradition continues. This is the type of "buddha" that makes all the other buds in the room take a back seat as its aroma dominates and permeates everything around you.
We're not entirely sure what strain this "50/50" is, but if we had to guess we'd go with Jet Fuel Gelato (JFG). I've seen it pretty frequently out West and we reviewed it not that long ago. If it is JFG then it's an excellent batch of it and it makes sense from aroma, flavor profile, and effects.
Regarding effects, even with a name like Jet Fuel in front of it, the typical JFG actually runs 50/50 on the indica/sativa spectrum, which is what I can say about this batch as well. It's very energy inducing at first, but this mellows out into a rich and euphoric OG-like high. If you're like me you'll want to hit it again and again, but consider using the grinder as the stickiness is out of control - a sign of its fresh and highly resinous state.
The colors and the contrasting trichomes - I mean look at alllll those amazing trich's! - are a visual representation of just how exotic this cut is. The whites, purples, blues, dark and light oranges, and touches of aquamarine all meld together in a veritable tie-dye tapestry of gorgeous bud.
