  • Cherry AK-47 Party Pack Pre-rolls - Joint Delivery

As I made my way around the District today - and let me acknowledge what a beautiful day it was - it became almost too easy to pull out this party pack of pre-rolls from Joint Delivery and spark one up. The usual challenges of: "where do I rolls this?", "how many should I roll?", "Do we have time to roll that many?", "will they get crushed in my pocket?", and the all-too-common "where'd my lighter go?" are pretty much all solved with this one simple contraption. That's correct, not only does this highly useful re-usable plastic pack come with 10 delectable pre-rolls, it also contains one JD branded lighter. For the type and contents of the pre-rolls note that I went the sativa route (gotta get sh*t done people) with the always enjoyable Cherry AK-47. If other shops traditionally use lesser or older bud for their pre-rolls, this is not the case as the bud was fresh and the toke was smooth and on point. But, this should come as no surprise given Joint Delivery's persistent presence as one of the top gifters reviewed on our site. If you're not familiar with AK-47 it's a sativa-heavy hybrid running about 70/30 that is the amalgamation of landrace cannabis varietals Columbian, Afghani, Mexican, and Thai. It's highly cerebral in nature, much like a haze, and will give you energy for mind and body while promoting an overall calming sensation as well. The Cherry phenotype of AK is simply a cut that has come to elicit sour and fruit forward characteristics much like the tree born fruit of its namesake. Pro tip: if you take the time to pinch the tops of these - or any - pre-rolls between your index finger and thumb, making a flat crown at the top like the image below, you'll find that it smokes much smoother and won't run as easily. I use this method in every joint that I roll and it has always seemed to work nearly as well when I retro-fit previously rolled joints (<---isn't this what pre-roll is the abbreviation for?). 🤔🤓 For the convenience factor, effectiveness, quality of toke, and re-usability of the Party Pack Pre-rolls I have to give it full marks and two thumbs up. So hit up DC i-71 delivery savants Joint Delivery today and grab some for yourself! Don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you!

  • Sour Grape - Spaced Out DC

When you combine Sour Diesel and Grape Ape the result, apparently, is one of the most trichome inundated specimens I've seen in a while. It's called Sour Grape, it runs 50/50 on the indica/sativa ratio, and it's currently available at DC I-71 all-star storefront Spaced Out DC. Note that several recent Spaced Out reviews just made our Favorites page (Sour Joker, Space X, and Gushers). This batch may just land them another place on that page. Check her out! While the Sour Joker had the aroma and aftertaste of a mega citrusy Tangie cross, this Sour Grape is more sour lemonade than orange zest. In fact, it's a whole lot like a sour beer in it's nose and palate - especially effervescent. At first whiff upon cracking the pack open it's so pungently sour fruity smelling it's overwhelming. You'll probably pull your nose away quickly, then wonder why you did when you realize it's a great smell, and then go back for more smells. When you rip a bowl or pull a tube of her expect the hard-hitting, barn-storming, Sour Diesel-like head rush. If you hit it hard enough this feeling, something like an enjoyable burning sensation, can extend outward to through your body to your extremities. For real this shit is strong AF. Even the bag, now a sticky smattering of trichome painted material reflecting on its once glory as a perfectly clear mylar pack, seems bewildered by its contents. On the inside of the colas there's, and i'm not entirely sure how, even more densely paced trich's. Give it a few good pinch and sniffs before you tare it down, you're nose will thank you and, hopefully, you can store this one in your olfactory memory banks for later recall and future enjoyment. • Galactic Jack - No Kids Allowed

Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, this Jack is some of that stuff from the top of a lit candlestick - fire! 🔥 If you've been reading Toker's Guide long you know I'm a huge fan of the hazy sativas, and especially a fan of any Jack Herer, whether solo or crossbred. For me there's just something about the terpene profile that soothes all of my digestive discomfort (which I battle daily). This Galactic Jack from super DC i-71 storefront No Kids Allowed is a cross of Jack Herer and another farm favorite, 50/50 hybrid Space Queen. Another great benefit from this batch, for me, is the mental clarity it possesses. While I'm certainly in my head and teeming with energy, I'm not rifling through thoughts and losing my train of thought with every passing gust of wind. No, I'm locked in and ready to - in this case at least - write. Which also brings me to the creativity inducing capabilities within most Jack batches. It is definitely present in this batch, and I can feel the juices flowing through me. ...and that juice is probably something of a piney lemonade - that's what I can still sense all around me and in my nostrils after the last tube I pulled anyways. I's incredibly citrusy aroma and flavor intertwine with anise notes and even what seems like a hint of key lime. It's just so scrumptious! So to jump over your own candlestick and off into the Galaxy of your mind this weekend, grab some of this stupendous Galactic Jack from storefront No Kids Allowed. • White Gushers and Purple Jolly Rancher - House of Herbs

Greetings fellow tokers! It's beginning to be the "trick or treat" time of the year and with names like White Gushers and Purple Jolly Rancher it seems like we're stocking up for some kind of adult Halloween party? Actually, that's not a bad idea? Do I still have time to plan? While I ponder that check out these great specimens from one of our favorite DC i-71 storefronts House of Herbs. The first thing to notice when opening these packs is the deliciously strong ganja aroma emanating from them. Each has a similar sweetly skunky olfactory bliss, but upon closer inspection, the differences are pronounced. The White Gushers is more tangy and effervescent at first, but as you keep inhaling the rich wine-like fruity notes give way to a more savory, mouthwatering gassiness. The aftertaste paints everything about a hit of this and impulsed me to continue puffing again and again just to get more of the flavor. Of course, the complex scent and flavor profile makes sense when you come to realize that the genetic inputs for this cultivar are Gelato #41 and Triangle Kush. Though the White Gushers has the obvious Gelato lineage, the Purple Jolly Rancher's background is a little more unclear. Also known as Route 66, Jolly Rancher (JR) is a strain shrouded in mystery, but my guess is that it is Gelato heavy with all the hallmarks that this batch has. Cross the JR with Purple Kush and you get a 75/25 indica-heavy hybrid with tremendously creamy, gassy, skunky Gelato #33-like aroma and flavor, along with some seriously intense euphoria. In fact, I must note the the body buzz on the JR is probably the most remarkable aspect of either reviewed strain, and there was, surprisingly, little couch-lock. I guess you could say it was super, and without the stuper! 😂🤦‍♂️ In the up-close shot above, the White Gushers reveals that it too has some beautiful purple hues to display. Of course, its heavy trichome coverage is also easily detectable as contrasted against the backdrop of the purples and lime greens. I really enjoyed rolling joints of the Gushers and found that it burned very tasty and true, but also gave the perfectly mellow, but not too mellow, vibes of the slightly indica-heavy hybrid that it is. I was able to be extremely relaxed physically, while being alert mentally for social interaction. In the Purple Jolly Rancher close-up above take note of the differences in structure between this and the prior photo of the White Gushers. As a teaching point, the more densely packed tightness of the Purple JR is a clear indication to me of its heavier indica stance. It's also interesting to note that these two were near inverses of each other from a purple to green color ratio - the JR being far more purple. With strains like these it's no tricks and all treats over at House of Herbs right now. I suggest you pay them a visit and check out these and their other delectable gifts for yourself. • Alien Labs: Blue Dream x Xeno #13 - Joint Delivery

From our good friends over at Joint Delivery, this Blue Dream, Xeno crossbreed bred by Alien Labs isn't just top-shelf, it belongs on the shelf of a shop from another galaxy entirely. In reality, it's a part of their (Alien Labs') "Top-Secret Micro-Batch" line - likely consisting of their most successful R&D project specimens - and they're keeping any other information on it locked up tighter than an X-file. Many of you are likely familiar with the, previously, very common Blue Dream. There are those out there who love the funky flavorful sativa that it is, and certainly those who put it down as being a somewhat treacherous strain often offered by nefarious characters - real or not. Well, some of the finest small batch harvests I've seen recently have been Blue Dream crossbreeds (case in point our recent review of Blue Dream x Sherbert), but this particular cut absolutely takes the crown. While we're not completely sure where the "#13" stems from, Xeno is a combo of perennial favorites Kush Mints and Zkittlez. From this side of the lineage we clearly have the gassy notes and a different part of the fruity terpene spectrum coming into play. Often known for its highly spacey effects, Xeno is the indica influence in this, dare I say, alien experiment. The backroom scientists over at Alien Labs must have stayed up late getting this one right! On the topic of alien experiments, you might characterize the overall effects of this batch as something of an alien abduction. It actually brings the spacey indica effects to bear first and the blue dream's sativa influence seems to serve to keep the intoxication going, perhaps adding an additional "dreamy" aspect. Your mind will race in a pleasant way and, while you won't be jittery at all, you may have trouble sleeping if you toke it too late. In contrast to what you might consider an energetic sativa with focus factor for getting things done, this is a mind melding hybrid with stoney staying power that some might find a bit bewildering. One of the most remarkable aspects of this bud in my opinion is its coloration. The nearly pink tips of the colas fade to a lavender and then deep purple before turning into some of the palest green bud I've seen in a long time. In some areas it even appears that the trichomes have adopted the pink hues themselves - quite remarkable and exotic to say the least! To get some of this rare, phenomenal, and exciting micro-batch flower for yourself, you don't have to travel to UFO hotspots or start wearing aluminum foil hats. Just hit up legendary DC i-71 purveyor Joint Delivery ASAP. Note: This WILL sell out fast!

  • Carnival - Top Secret DC

Step right up! This Carnival from famed DC i-71 delivery and pick-up specialists Top Secret DC is a ride for the memory books - and you'll have no trouble making one (a book that is) given its highly energizing stance. Yes, it's a super productive sativa dominant hybrid and a cross of standard Haze and another unknown hybrid. The most remarkable aspects about this strain are its mouthwatering skunky/savory smell and its happiness inducing effects. Yes, appropriately named, Carnival, actually makes you quite cheery when you toke it. It's that kind of eye squinting, nose wrinkled, head tingling buzz that you might remember from past sativa experiences. When the ends of your mouth start to tilt upwards into a cheshire-cat-like grin though, you'll know what I mean when I say it filled me with an inner sense of joy. The trichome coverage is magnificent, but it is a little delicate to the touch and will shed its frosty layers of goodness onto whatever your container of choice is in a heavy, heavy way. No worries, though - we all like kief, right? Especially the fresh and frosty white kind. We highly recommend rolling this one up in some fine papers in order to fully exhibit its magnificent flavor. We also must underscore the importance of sparking it up during daylight hours to avoid the potential for a restless sleep. Not a bad idea to have some activity oriented plans in mind as an outlet for what you will feel. Maybe if you do toke it at night you could go to a highly active and energized place. You know one with a lot of lights, games, rides, etc. What do they call those again? For your own Carnival ride give Top Secret DC a shout ASAP. Don't for get to tell them Toker's Guide sent you for something extra special!

  • District Flowers Disposable Vape Cart - Buddha Buddy DC

I'm pretty into these new disposable vape carts made by District Flowers and available from our friends at DC i-71 delivery outlet, Buddha Buddy DC. When I typically think of disposables, I'm admittedly a little taken aback at first. I'm used to the little 510 threaded carts and I typically prefer live resin ones whenever possible. That said, these particular ones are damn good for being distillate. The re-introduction of cannabinoids and terpenes after the extraction process seems to be the present modus operandi and, in this case, I think it worked out really well. The Green Crack is by far my favorite, with some great sativa vibes and a flavor that is strikingly similar to my memory of the last time I toked on this cultivar. My second favorite is the Northern Lights and, with this one, you can immediately sense the intensity of indica effects that are going to be levied upon you. Last, and certainly not lease, is the Biscotti. It's not that I didn't like this one - I most certainly did - it's that the others had slightly preferable flavor for me. Who knows, you might like the Biscotti one the most. Holler at Buddha Buddy DC today and grab some of these, simple, covert, delectable, and surprisingly powerful disposable carts for yourself. Don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you for something extra special!

  • Ice Cream Cake & God's Breath - DC Dash

We're covering some true indica-dominant heavyweights today from the District's i-71 delivery pro's DC Dash. Hold them next to each other and they are starkly different. One is deeply purple with a tremendous amount of fiery orange hairs. The other is so lime green it might as well glow in the dark (it doesn't, we tried), but with beautiful purple tipped sugar leaves and only a sparse amount of hairs. Will these two completely different looking buds also have different effects? Or, despite their differing appearances, could they actually end up being similar tokes in the end? Run out now and grab some for yourself...or keep reading and we'll elaborate. First off let me just say that God's Breath runs staggeringly Indica heavy (90/10) and is also known to be robust in the potency department often testing in excess of 27% THC. In it's lineage it has notoriously sought after indica powerhouses Grandaddy Purp (GDP) and OG Kush. We're not sure which specific cut of OG Kush went into this pheno, but as big fans of most OG's and even bigger fans of GDP, we didn't spend too long thinking about it. How could we? Look at this amazing bud - gotta put it to the use God gave it to us for! Though Ice Cream Cake, a cross of newer Cookie lineage strains Gelato #33 and Wedding Cake, is thought of as only 75% in favor of indica on the hybrid spectrum, its entourage of effects are so sedative you might say it leans even further toward the God's Breath's stance. The euphoric "tingles" were a little more pronounced in the Ice Cream Cake, and the mystic mind-melding mental state was more pronounced with the God's Breath, but overall the two cultivars ended up being remarkably similar all effects considered. Note that I also found both of these buds to be exceptionally helpful with aches and pains, especially those of the lower back and knees. I spend a lot of time running and it takes a toll on both of these areas, so for me sampling these indica heavies was just right for the end of the day when I definitely needed some relief. Ultimately, the biggest difference in these buds outside of their sexy looks is their flavor and aroma. The God's Breath is exotically kushy, as if from the den of a high Himalayan village, with hints of berries and nuts. The Ice Cream Cake is much more fruit forward and, you guessed it, creamy. In either case, they make for delectable tokes and each's flavor profile is uniquely fitting. ...but don't just take my word for it, hit up i-71 delivery service DC Dash asap and make the comparison for yourself. Note that right now you can get a whopping 15% off your order with promo code "TOKERS".

  • Chili Verde - Sugar Ray's DC

If you're into high terpene containing indica-dominant strains, DC i-71 delivery service Sugar Ray's has a uniquely exotic strain that just might be your spice of life. Her name is Chili Verde and you might say she's "en fuego". Her aroma is a pungent, piney, and lime-scented diesel fuel with subtle floral notes as well. If you close your eyes on the exhale and think back to your favorite Mexican cantina, the flavor can easily take the form of a spicy pepper or salsa - so intriguing! On that puff you may also find that it can hit you with the intensity of a mean jalapeño. But, instead of jumping around waiving your hands like your mouth is on fire, this time you'll be physically buried in euphoric relaxation, your head comfortably aflame with what feels much like a headband. You won't need a cerveza to cool down from this type of heat, but it is highly recommended for the impending cottonmouth you'll experience. A cross of Key Lime Pie and Lavender, it's a very, very spacey high, and the effects are great for tension and stress. Don't save any work for after you partake as the dreaminess makes it hard to focus on anything productive. Definitely one for nighttime use, and pretty much any bedtime indica lovers ideal toke. They say not to eat anything spicy before bed, but toking an exotically spicy treasure trove of indica terpenes is more than ok to help tuck me in. To grab some of this spicy, flavor packed Chili Verde for yourself give Sugar Ray's DC a shout and setup your delivery today! Also note that you can get 10% off your order with code: TokersGuide

  • Melonatta - Top Secret DC

Choptober is alive and well over at Top Secret DC. With something like 20+ new strains on their menu, if you're in the market for a great sack of chronic, check them out - you won't be disappointed. Of the three samples we got to review, I wanted to bring this sativa wild child, Melonatta to your attention first and foremost (hopefully before they run out). She's a modern crossbreed of flavor and terp powerhouse Watermelon Zkittles and the citrusy salivation inducing Lemon Tree, originally cultivated by Grandiflora. Deeper in her lineage you'll find some sativa legends that can help explain why this is just so enjoyable for those true sativa lovers out there. While Watermelon x Zkittles is obvious, the Sour Diesel x Lemon Skunk pairing that resulted in Lemon tree is less so, and this might be the better half (imo). Heads up to all you sour diesel fans! Along with her funky skunky fruit forward punch comes all the sativa energy inducing vibes you can handle. I personally pulled a couple tubes and went out for a lengthy jog this morning. About 20 minutes in, when I broke the trance of a mega productive daydream, I realized that not only did I have a huge smile on my face, but I wasn't winded in the least. I ended up doing considerably more than my usual circuit, partially because of the great fall weather, but mostly because I just had such good vibes going. For a little extra pep in your step and a great all around toke, hit up i-71 delivery and pickup pro's Top Secret DC and grab some of this Melonatta for your own stash. • Space X - Spaced Out DC

Greetings Tokers! Of the many different and exciting samples we've seen for this weekend so far one that has made an astronomic impression has been this (appropriately named) "Space X" strain. It's available right now at DC I-71 storefront Spaced Out DC, and I wanted to let you all know about it with the speed of the eponymous company's rocket-ships. Why appropriately named? Yes, of course, it takes you to outer space, but also much like SpaceX the company, this strain is packing some real rocket fuel both in flavor and intensity of effects. She's a hybrid in style and her genetics are shrouded in mystery, but she runs fairly indica in my opinion. Maybe we can call it an "energetic" indica dominant hybrid. For example, while I WAS able to right this review, I WAS NOT able to prevent myself from getting sucked into my office chair and watching too many youtube videos while doing it. The distraction level is high with this one. You might say it...spaces you out. 😂🤦‍♂️ The coloration is truly beautiful. The lavender and blue hues along with what really seems like black sugar leaves are juxtaposed with the hyper white trichs and fiery hairs. It has the appearances of a Gelato, yet the effects and flavor/aroma profile are quite different. It's more earthy, kushy than creamy skunky if that makes any sense to the cannabis portion of your flavor palate. Also apparent is the psychedelic nature of the effects. Let's just say the lights were shining extra bright tonight, with little glow rings around their outside. The dancing flames of the balcony across the way also kept my eye enchanted, especially with the backdrop of the stars above. It's always a pleasure when you catch a batch that's outside of your usual cultivar gene pool. This makes for stronger entourage effects and allows one to burst through any ceiling they may have created over time with strain tolerance. To take yet another blast off to the heavens with famed DC storefront Spaced Out DC, hit them up ASAP and grab some Space X for yourself. Don't forget to tell them Toker's Guide sent you!

  • Tangerine & Pomegranate Gummies - Georgetown Kushcakes

Georgetown Kushcakes has been building up a reputation around the i71 scene for being one of the more elegant and delicious edible vendors on the market. They offer a wide range of assorted edible gifts, but I really wanted to get my hands on some of their gummies to sample and, of course, review for you all! Gummy gifts are broadly popular, presumably because they're so easy to consume throughout the day - efficiently and stealthily. While they seem to be everywhere finding one that is tasty and effective has been a continuing challenge for me. Therefore, I tend to try every company's gummies I can get my hands on. This time, I specifically got my hands on these excellent pomegranate and tangerine gummies (as seen below) from the aforementioned Georgetown Kushcakes. Right off the bat their flavor options really stood out to me as interestingly appetizing. I see far too many generic gummies on the market that are your common flavors like grape and strawberry and the like. No shade on those fruits, but when it comes to the wide world of flavoring options, I think we have transcended the basic candy flavors. In the case of GTKC, I honestly had trouble deciding which flavor I would go with because of the assortment of tantalizing ones available - a good problem to have in my opinion. Georgetown Kushcakes also pack’s their gummies with a punch, offering 200mg bags of cubed and sugared gummy delights. Again, I always caution you to know your own tolerance because when people start making delicious treats out of cannabis, it becomes quite easy to eat more than you are ready for! At 200mg per bag and with epically delicious flavor, these gummies are certainly a candied treat you will want to finish. You've been warned! Eating a full bag is a 200mg experience which is perfect for me, but definitely not for the newbies. With this amount ingested, I soon had the quintessential, amazing body high that my chronic pain self truly craves. The products hit their mark and gave me a total range of motion with my body for a solid 6 hours and for that I very much thank Georgetown Kushcakes. To get some of these delectable little squares of love for yourself hit up DC i-71 storefront All the Buzz today!
